Windows 8 Tablet Design Demos to come in June

The possibility of an early 2012 Windows 8 release date for the tablet seems more and more likely as we continue to collect outside rumors. In addition to the leaked Dell roadmap, sources are now claiming that Microsoft is preparing to show off its new Windows 8 design for tablets in June.

In addition, Business Insider’s source also claimed Microsoft is taking “a more Apple-like approach to interface design,” and also borrowing concepts from Windows Phone 7′s Metro UI. This again, coincides with a recent rumor claiming Windows 8 will feature similar “live tiles” from Windows Phone 7.

At this point, speculation is that Milestone 3 will be expected near the end of July.
