Windows 8 webcam app demoed on video

The same person who leaked a video of the touch-based login system in Windows 8 through a video has leaked another Windows 8 feature today – the native Webcam application.

As you can see, the elements of Metro UI are evident throughout the application design. The app offers a nice variety of basic customization options for you to tweak the quality of video output. You’ll also notice an option for “Flicker” at the bottom of the list of Webcam settings.

One might start to whether Microsoft will make apps specifically for the ARM version of Windows 8, or whether these apps will be identical cross-platform.
